Bitty Baby Collection
If you know a special girl between 3 and 6 years old who loves to play house, a Bitty Baby doll would be perfect for her. These soft-bodied 15-inch dolls are available in a small rainbow of skin tones, hair colors, and eye colors to choose from. Unlike the 18-inch dolls, though, the Bitty Baby dolls have "molded" (vinyl) hair, of the same material as the rest of the head and limbs. This collection, formerly called Our New Baby before it was renamed The Bitty Baby Collection, was introduced in 1990 and encourages small girls to role-play motherhood and lovingly care for their "babies". Bitty Baby dolls arrive wearing a sleeper and cloth diaper, and newer editions of the doll include a 5-inch teddy bear named Bitty Bear.
There are many adorable outfits for Bitty Baby, for all kinds of different occasions and seasons—complete with coordinating shoes and hats! These outfits usually come with a matching item for Bitty Bear, such as a hat or nightgown, a story board book about the bear, and a small toy. You can also purchase special furniture that is made just for Bitty Baby, including a stroller, high chair, diaper bag, and crib.
